Hey Affiliate!
I'm thrilled that you've
decided to join me in this endeavor. I hope you make tons
of cash.
Here's where you'll
find ads and articles and promo hints to help you
sell more e-books. Couple guidelines:
1. You're free to use these
promo materials to sell the book they were intended to
sell. Please don't swipe them to use for your own
products. Every product has a unique selling proposition
and ads work best when they highlight each products
USP.
2. Don't forget to insert your
affiliate link where I've indicated. Clickbank does a
fabulous job keeping track of your earnings but if you
don't insert your personal link, you won't get credit for
the sale. So again... remember to insert your
link.
3. Have fun! Freelance
writing is honestly the best profession anywhere.
Have fun with this and enjoy the ride.
Here are some ads you can
use. Tweak at will to best fit your audience. Feel
free to run the articles as often as you'd like. I'll
occasionally send you a "fresh" article you can use but
(as always) be sure to use your affiliate link in the
bio.

A Freelancer Secret
Revealed
By Beth Ann Erickson
From what I’ve experienced, there
are some heavy-duty insider secrets
that allow some writers to pull
lucrative writing assignments towards
them on a on a consistent
basis.
But you say writing isn’t about
money.
I agree. It’s not. Most writers
write for self-expression, to influence their
world, you name it, most writers
do not write for the money.
However, a steady flow of income
can have a profound affect on your writing
career.
I call this phenomenon the “High
Profit Writing Lifestyle.”
What I love about this lifestyle
is that I now have more than enough time
and plenty of incoming c ash so I
can write whatever I want to.
Simply stated, the techniques I
outline in a series upcoming articles
easily supports (what I call) my
“fiction writing habit.”
Fiction writers make notoriously
poor wages.
Not any more. Now you can write
short-term high-paying lucrative projects
and devote the lion’s share of
your time to the activities you love most.
It’s cool to allow my characters
to rumble through my mind knowing that
I can afford to give them their
voice, breathe life into their actions, and
transcribe their stories on
paper.
Way cool.
And I’d hate for you to miss
living your dream!

A Sweet Little Tip That’ll Keep
Assignments Flowing Towards You In A
Rational, Predictable
Manner
By Beth Ann Erickson
Your
freelance business is just that: a
business.
You may be
chagrined to find out that just because you’re a fabulous
writer,
agents,
marketing managers, and editors won’t beat a path to your
door. You
need to
make all these people aware of the fact that you have
something valuable
to offer
them.
As a
copywriter, you can do this by drafting a stellar sales
letter promoting your services
to local businesses. Get a mailing list from your Chamber
of Commerce and start
writing, revising, refining, folding, and licking
envelopes.
You can
also write an effective brochure to send to prospective
clients.
Postcards
mailed on a regular basis are a great way to keep in
touch with clients as
well.
Scour your
local paper and find businesses that have an ad budget.
If they
advertise
regularly, chances are they have a budget. See if you can
get a little
piece of
it by writing effective copy for those
ads.

have a ton of ideas on how to promote
your
business.
You need
to do the same thing when you’re contacting agents,
editors, and
publishers.
Contact them with a well-crafted query whenever you have
a new
project to
present to them. Your Writer’s Market should
be tatters by the time the
new update
is released.
If you
don’t have a regular promotion plan, you won’t have
regular work.
Let me
repeat that: If you don’t have a regular promotion plan,
you won’t have
regular
work.
Decide how
many queries you’ll send out on a daily basis. Then do
it.
Sending
out one query per day is better than sending a batch and
sitting back and
waiting.
You get a
rhythm in your career when you send out a set number
daily. And
never miss
a day. Even when you have so much work that you can’t
see
straight…
send out your set number of queries.
Do the
same thing for sales letters. If you want copywriting
assignments, you
need to
send out those sales letters.
I send out
a set number of queries and sales letters daily. Because
copywriting
pays
better than articles, I usually send out more sales
letters than I do queries.
But I keep
that number constant.
Oh… and
always tweak your queries and sales letters. As your
writing skills
grow, so
will your promo skills.
Don’t
expect perfection on anything you write. My first promo
letter (quite
frankly)
sucked. But it sucked less than my competitions. That’s
how I started.
Since then
I’ve poured thousands and thousands of dollars getting my
hands on
the best
materials that’ll give me the edge when it comes to
competing for
writing
projects. And every dollar I spend on honing my skills
pays back in
spades.
Keeping
your promo plan regular will keep your stream of work
regular.

A Simple E-mail Technique Will Land
More Paying Assignments
By
Beth Ann Erickson
Never send an e-mail message without
including a short message advertising your business. You can
easily set up your e-mail program to insert an e-mail
signature at the end of every message you send. Just dig
through the “help” section of your e-mail program and you’ll
very likely find step-by-step instructions to insert your
benefit-oriented signature into every e-mail.
So… how do you go about writing a
signature?
Here are a few basic rules to follow:
- Generally speaking, keep it short. No
more than seven lines is the industry standard. Make
your signature longer, and you’ll likely raise the ire
of those e-mail recipients who are forced to slog
through an over-long sales pitch.
- Make your signature benefit oriented.
Don’t talk about yourself, write about what you can do
for your reader.
- Keep it simple. Don’t try to
advertise more than one item. I opt to promote my
e-zine, Writing Etc. That way, if I gain a new
subscriber, I can pitch our other products to them on a
regular basis.
I once knew someone who considered
themselves to be an effective marketer. They’d constructed a
high-powered signature that hard sold everything from
copywriting services to CDs to vitamins. Not surprisingly,
that “power sig” didn’t sell much of anything.
Don’t make this mistake. Keep your
signature simple. Ask for one and only one action on the
part of your reader. If you have multiple books, send your
prospective customer to your home page. Get ‘em to sign up
for a zine. But only ask ONE thing of your reader. Ask for
more and they’ll instantly ignore any direction from
you.
That’s basically it! Just for your
reference, here’s my standard e-mail signature that we’ve
used for years:
Make Your Writing Sparkle. Write Killer
Queries. Get
Published. Subscribe to Writing Etc., the FREE e-mag for
writers. Receive
the e-booklet "Power Queries" when you
subscribe.
http://FilbertPublishing.com
Notice how the signature focuses on the
reader, not on the zine. Also note the short sentences and
the freebie thrown in for good measure. Also, see how it’s
easy to read, it’s focused on one item, and best of all…
it’s short.
Now… this signature’s been used for a long
time. You may be wondering about ad fatigue.
Nope. After much testing, we haven’t found
a signature that beats this one yet.
Model your signature after this one and
your sales will spike. Guaranteed.
